I'm a cultural anthropologist and sociologist who has published on a wide variety of topics, many of them centered around differences and their implications. I'm affiliated with Boston University, am also a contributing editor at American Purpose. Before I became an academic, I was a financial analyst and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa. Native of a small town in the Midwest.
